I was having a conversation with a friend today, and I came to a realization. I hate the fantasy genre. I didn't a few years ago, now I do. Since the success of LOTR it has been over done, become overly cliche, and a parody of itself. I came to this realization while discussing krod mandoon. I know this show will fail because it's kind of like "why are you parodying something that's already ridiculous." How many fantasy movies and games do there have to be with effiminite elves and british accents galore.
I'm tired of it, it's played out. I need a freakin break. So, even though I'll lay down money that King will win. For the past few months, I've been in a Jedi mood.
Especially thanks to the awesome that is the Clone Wars and The Force Unleashed.
