45 Min speed painting. Almost didn't do it because I was tired from the Surfer Raven, but about half way through Conan I decided that it was an image I just had to get out.

What I saw in my head when the Crimson King was taunting Roland. The whole time I was painting this I was thinking "GOD DAMN MOTHERFUCKING GUNSLINGER SON OF A BITCH LINE OF ELD FUCK YOU!"

I think I was channeling the crazy bastard.

Once again, I imagine not many people like my paintings, but they are fun for me, so I keep doing them. :D

edit: adjusted the arm to what I saw in my head, fixed the color, and flipped the canvas because I didn't like the old composition.

you got the eyes perfect, terrifying. and the mouth is great.
you know, i love these books, and they were written well, and the ending taught me something; but, the crimson king disappointed me a little after i thought about what i was expecting from the end of the first book. oh well.
your version is awesome.
