My money is on the little one.

45 Minute speed painting Done from memory, so I hope you'll forgive any forgotten details. You can see the sketch on my blog. It's really really rudimentary.

Two quick artistic things.

First, Nero's ship design is !@#$ed up. It's so overwhelming that I was like "ok, i'll just do something that reminds me of it..."

Second, I was so not surprised to findout that Ryan Church was the concept artist for Star Trek. The visual was very... Ryan Churchy. So I just did what he shows in those vids.

Though, I can never get the detail he gets using his method. It's great for starting stuff out though.

Hey,

It's pretty awesome that you did this, let alone so quickly. Interestingly, since you did this from memory, is that you seem to have conflated the XI-film and original-series Enterprises' a bit. Where the nacelle's sprout out from, and the squareness of the stern-half of the secondary hull are pure original series. Kind of cool that the two exist merged in the Zeitgeist.
