So I'm reading the Ultramarine Omnibus whenever I have some freetime and no desire to draw. I have to admit, I didn't like how this whole Nightbringer vs Uriel thing turned out. But the concept of one Spacemarine staring down the most powerful being to ever have existed really appealed to me. So I decided to try and render it. I missed a few details in the book like the eldar, barzano, and the meltabomb, but this is basically what I saw in my head during that whole scene. A cave, a lightsource from a mining elevator, the nightbringer, and uriel.

 Actually, the most powerful being in realspace should be the Void Dragon, but no one saw that guy in a while...

The detail level of the the marine leaves something to be desired... yet it's overall simple and easy to take in one gulp. Chocolate!" -- Scumbunny.  nice pic, i was playing aginst a nightbringer yesterday. my squad was in the third floor of a building and saw eye to eye with it. that thing is a beast. that marine is dead, no way he can take that thing.
 don't like this so much, cos you can tell he's a smurf!
