Medusa's bouquetby =morganagod

Medusa Commission

Commissioner wanted a beautiful version of Medusa holding a bouquet of flowers.

Gave me free reign otherwise, so I decided to paint it.

Gonna start offering more expensive painterly commissions, and I need to show that they'll be worth it in terms of cost and time.

oh and just incase you're wondering, the snakes in her hair are
Coral Snake
Black Mamba
Rattlersnake
Cobra
Green Viper

I figured the snakes would be more threatening if they were based on actual venomous snakes.

Beautiful! I've always been a fan of your art but this one is exceptional even for someone of your skills! I don't get how did they want to make Medusa so hideous no man would look at her with lust in his eyes. I'd totally fall for such woman. xD

Very awesome work here! Nice anatomy and such and I love the Frazetta-esque shape to her body. I was wondering if any ignorant dofus was going to comment on the legs. "What?? She has a snake tail instead of legs!!" No you ignorant dolt, Medusa has legs, that stupid Clash of the Titans of old gave her that stupid snake tail. That and if anyone actually bothered to READ Greek mythology you'd note that the writers of that movie did not, read it I mean. The remake wasn't half bad though. Sorry about the rant, but I hate that movie.

Oh yes and to chime in with everyone else, the different snakes for hair is cool. I don't think it's ever clear on what specific type of snake her hair was ever supposed to be.

wow...definitely not the fat-faced, protruding tongue, tusked gorgon the Greeks would've have thought. She is very regal and divinely beautiful. It is simply wow.
