I miss Kain. He had so many bad ass lines even unto his last game. In Defiance, the guards were like "Surrender Vampire, and we promise you a quick death." and his response was "I could promise you the same, but it would be a lie." There just isn't that kind of awesome in vidya games anymore.

Man, I'm in some kinda rut or something, cause I'm really none to happy with this. It's just missing something. I'm convinced I'm bi-polar or something because the quality of my art just ebs up and down and it's infuriatingly depressing. I should draw some tats to make myself feel better.

Anyway, I wanted Kain to look proud, noble, and arrogant and I wanted this image to be reminiscent of old old portraits you'd see hanging over a creepy fireplace. My execution is hit and miss in some areas.

Oh well, I'll either scrap this later, or finish it up and edit it later.

We'll see.

really good portrait, you certainly captured his character in everyway and how its like an old painting of oil decaying over time above a fireplace.

WE NEED ANOTHER GAME OVER HERE!!!!!! DX

They were already starting another game, but canceled it half way, and i can't find out the reason why!!? DX This is horrible, they need to finish the series so the rest of us fan-girls and boys can find some happiness!! I wish they did something after Defiance too! Just leaving it there hanging after Defiance is such a waste of a Great game!

Ah, i can feel the happy memories just rushing back into my head, those were good times!

My dear man, don't be too hard on yourself; any little bit of Kain added to the world, especially from an artist such as yourself, is a blessing.

I was wondering how the whole Square Enix purchasing Eidos would impact the Kain series. Since the rest of the world has a hard-on for vampires right now they might decide to bring him back.

Of course this made me worry that Square might try to relaunch it themselves, that is, try to make it like FF or one of their other fantasy games.

Thoughts?
