Colossal Shark vs Colossal Mantis Shrimp

My illustration final. It was nice to not have Art History, Senior Exhibition or Calculus breathing down my neck. You know, I've talked to some art students in Europe, and they can't comprehend an art school where school can actually get in the way of making art. It makes me wonder what their schools are like. Anyway, not having anything else bothering me, I could really focus on this and push it as far as I could.

The concept is basically a giant mantis shrimp punching its way out of a giant great white shark Aliens style. I'm not sure where, but I heard a tale of a shark eating a mantis shrimp, and then the shrimp killing the shark by punching through it's stomach. Probably not true, but a cool idea. Mantis shrimps are bad ass. I wonder how many will notice the Air Craft carriers that I put in for scale.
