So here I sit, in the last real class of the semester. I know it’s only been a few days, but I thought I’d update you on my connection situation. Basically, I still don’t have one. However, I’m moving out of where I currently live, and moving back to Sun Valley for the summer. The move will take a couple of weeks, and I won’t be able to start moving till the 15th. Then I have to actually get a connection… and a summer job. So by sometime in June (most likely mid-ish June) I’ll have a connection. I’m hoping it’ll be earlier. However I will be spending some time at “the doom house” A bunch of nerd friends rent out a house in my hometown, they have a connection. Well, it used to be a bunch of nerd friends, now it’s a bunch of stoners that I don’t know and one otaku who doesn’t smoke or drink.

On the note of the move I would like to say, fuck the quads. I’m only moving back here if it’s an absolute necessity. All in all it’s really cheap, 375 a month with all utilities paid, it’s going to jump to 450 next year, but you get what you pay for. They advertise that there is free wireless Internet, but it’s free wireless Internet that can barely load google. They advertise all utilities paid, but then put limits on your water, energy, and AC consumption. The walls are paper-thin and if that wasn’t enough, they do semi-annual inspections. They advertise being protected by electronic gates but they totally neglect to mention that there’s a fence that anyone could easily jump around the back. Oh, and then there are the people that live here. Just about every societal reject lives here. Druggies, high school drop outs, college meatheads, retards, criminals. Etc etc. I swear, my neighbor was a guy who got arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He was a large black guy who dressed and acted like a gangster. A large black guy who dressed and acted like a gangster… IN IDAHO! The quads management says that it will only allow people with a clean record in. What this means is that they allow people who haven’t been caught yet, or people who have had their records expunged. There are still criminals and crazy people here of all shapes and sizes. A friend of mine had a problem with a women inexplicably yelling at him from the outside to his window. She was/is certifiably insane. Oh, and the “Management” can enter and go through your apartment as they see fit. Then there is the parking. I had to bitch and moan for a parking spot. Luckily, I’m really good at manipulating people in to giving me things like that but chances are you aren’t going to find one. There are like 40 spots, maybe, and about oh 100 cars. Yea, great planning guys. Oh and fuck you if you can’t find a parking spot anywhere else than the quads parking lot. Because if you don’t have a permit you’re getting towed. The price for waiting half a day after the tow? 300 bucks. It’s fucking bullshit. Everything about this place is bullshit. It feels like a prison more than a home or apartment.

Back to the class situation: I have all of my shit turned in, and every project done. Thanks to a few sleeping pills I was able to sleep properly, get up early, and get shit done. However the entire time I felt like I was falling apart. I really didn’t take care of myself. I actually went about three days without brushing my teeth, showering or changing my clothes. I ate about one meal a day and it was usually a disgusting meal of disgustingness. Using ingredients that were literally months old and quite possibly rotted. I went from feeling very healthy, to just feeling like a lump. I’m starting to feel better now. I’m back to taking care of myself and I’m eating good food now that it’s over, but my body is still angry with me. I can’t sleep, I get intermittent bouts of diarrhea and I’m breaking out in zits. Damn I feel attractive. I actually wrote all this in word at home from 3:30 am to 5:30am. I just did some copy pasta in class to get it on DA. I’m seriously that bored without an Internet connection and even writing this hasn’t made me tired enough to sleep. I have one more test to take, and its not that big a deal. It’s a test on two chapters, it will take all of an hour to study for and I’m not worried at all. I have to admit, I was a little confrontational in my last few projects for Art 107, but I couldn’t help it. I hope I didn’t secure myself a failure. I really don’t want to take that class again. I was also a little too pessimistic and miserly on my Psych papers, but they were in regards to a book we had to read. The book was basically an etiquette book. Having to read it infuriated me. It talked about “the coarsening of America.” The entire book was a nostalgia fueled rant as to how people SHOULD act. As if it weren’t course to begin with. So my responses to my questions were very House-ish. In fact, when the last essay question asked for 26th rule (of etiquette essentially) I said, “Lie.”
